Language Arts
Spelling:
> A test will be given every Friday with the exception of a few Thursdays
> Spelling list are handed out to each of the students on Fridays to allow for
more studying time
> Spelling tests cannot be retaken
Recommendations:
We all learn so differently. Some students learn best simply by saying the words aloud. Other students learn best by writing the words down as they study. I encourage each of you to discover a method of studying that works for you and spend 10-15 minutes each night studying your spelling words.
*PARENTS*
Students receive their lists every Friday. Getting into the habit of studying a little every night will help to cement these words into their young minds. If you are a parent, perhaps you could spare 10-15 minutes each evening studying with your child.
